What do we do at Soladance ?

We do a variety of dance styles - without a partner.

Most types of music are danced to such as Latin, Pop, Rock & Roll,
Disco, Swing, Rock, Soul, Street, Celtic, Country and many more.

Dancing solo has been with us for as long as rhythm has and
increased in popularity with the rise of line dancing to disco in the
70’s followed later by western country music.

With the rise in popularity came dances with choreography to fit other
types of music to such an extent that any music with a regular beat can
now be danced to.

Above all, whatever type of music or dance style our dancers prefer, the most important
things are fun and friendship in a social and non-competitive environment
for people of all ages.
