Most types of music are danced to such as Latin, Pop, Disco, Soul, Hip-Hop, Swing, Rock, Celtic, Rock & Roll, Country and many more.
Dancing solo has been with us for as long as rhythm has and
increased in popularity with the rise of line dancing to disco in the
70’s followed later by western country music.
With the rise in popularity came dances with choreography to fit other types of music to such an extent that any music with a regular beat can
now be danced to.
Above all, whatever type of music or dance style our dancers prefer, the most important
things are fun and friendship in a social and non-competitive environment
for people of all ages.

Zumba Fitness classes include music with fast and slow rhythms and resistance training for fitness and losing weight.
Zumba Fitness involves dance and aerobic elements. Unlike a typical dance class where counts are used, Zumba Fitness involves following the music with easy-to-follow repetitive movements.
The choreography incorporates moves with a Latin and International flavour such as Samba, Salsa, Merengue, Mambo, Bollywood, Belly Dancing and many others.
Classes are designed to be non-competitive and fun and geared to the fitness level of the dancers.
Our beginner classes require no previous dance or regular workout experience.
Those attending classes should wear comfortable clothing that allows a full range of movement along with supportive footwear.
Why not ditch the workout now and join the party !
